Le Directeur Général de 2iE, Mr. Paul GINIES et le Président de Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (Kumasi, Ghana) ont signé ce jour 15 mai 2012 à Kumasi, une Convention de cotutelle de Thèse entre les deux institutions.
Cette Convention qui permettra un co-encadrement de doctorants sur des thématiques communes de recherche, donnera lieu à une co-diplomation (un seul diplôme de Doctorat co-signé par 2iE et KNUST). Cela est une grande première dans les collaborations scientifiques de 2iE.
Mr. Paul GINIES était accompagné par Prof. Amadou Hama MAIGA, Directeur Général Adjoint, et Dr. Harouna KARAMBIRI, Directeur de l'Ecole Doctorale de 2iE.
La cérémonie a eu lieu en présence de plusieurs Directeurs et Responsables de Centres, Départements et laboratoires de recherche de KNUST.

2iE and Tuskegee University Summer School
2iE will organize jointly with the Tuskegee University Al. (USA) a Summer School in Ouagadougou from 11 – 21 June 2012. The general theme of the Summer School is “Energy, Environment and Food Security”.
The Topics for Research and Seminars/Lectures are:
1. Introduction to climate change and sustainable development
2. Climate change and water cycle in sub-Saharan Africa
3. Climate change, agriculture, and food security
4. Renewable energy, energy efficiency, and sustainable development (Solar, Wind, Biofuels, etc.)
5. Pollution, domestic and industrial waste water management.
Appel à projets AIRD-CIRAD
« Doctorants du Sud » est un programme d’appui au renforcement et à la consolidation des potentiels de recherche dans les pays du Sud. Il est mis en œuvre par l’AIRD pour le compte du Centre de coopération internationale en recherche agronomique pour le développement (CIRAD).
Il s'adresse à des étudiants originaires d’un pays en développement des régions intertropicales ou méditerranéennes, titulaires d'un master, ou d’un diplôme équivalent), qui souhaitent réaliser une thèse dans le cadre d’un partenariat entre une unité de recherche du CIRAD et une équipe de recherche du Sud leur garantissant un encadrement de travail de qualité.
